REVIEWS/QUOTES:

Lynette, I think Duo of Opposites is the best thing you’ve ever written and I know you’ve written a lot. It was an honor to review it and I meant it when I said it should be a movie. Keep up the good writing. --John Staples, a retired newspaper editor who writes reviews for the paper and the author of White Lies and Make Love;  Drive Freeway.

Lynette, I liked your Duo of Opposites a lot, but I was really surprised that it was a romance. I guess I think you’re always killing people in your novels. But I see you can do both. I hope you will continue to write in both fields. Thanks for a good read. --Pam Cable, author of Southern Fried Women and the soon to be released Televang

Hi Lynette. I finished your book last night. It is such a precious story. I loved the DUO and my heart went out to both of them. I felt what they were feeling. The other characters were also clearly defined. Everything fit. MORE of the same!!! Congratulations!!. This is a real winner. Love you, --Kathy Fisher, Author, Up a tree with Teddi Wee

Duo of Opposites: Lynette, I just finished your new book! I started it Monday, early evening and by last night this book had me in tears! I read it off and on and let it sit on my coffee table for most of the day because I did not want the book to end! But I stayed up and finished it tonight. I love the way you write. Everything just flows and you make me feel like I am there with the characters in your books. So now I am one of your biggest fans. NOW GET BUSY AND WRITE MORE !!!! Please!! -- Your Biggest fan,  Carole Batten

Dear Lynette, I can’t tell you how much I loved Duo Of Opposites. I think your characters come to life in the book so well that I think I’d know them if I met them on the street. It’s got to be made into a movie. I can just see it on Lifetime or one of the Movie’s of the Week. You are fast becoming my favorite writer. Can’t wait for your next one. -- Loretta Stover – A West Virginia Fan

The Calendar Clan features June March, one of the “Calendar Clan.” These six close siblings from Edison, North Carolina are all named after months of the year, no doubt inspired by their last name—March. This book is about June, the most rebellious and headstrong of the bunch but also charming and determined to clear her sister April’s name when she is accused of murdering her husband. June, on leave from the private investigating firm because of a leg broken on the job, is recuperating at her parents’ home when all hell breaks loose. In order to clear her sister’s name she is forced to work with Sheriff Wallace Striker who once was her classmate. Though June tormented Wallace when they were kids, she reluctantly finds herself falling in love with him as they work the case together. This is a delightful read with the ups and downs of a budding romance interspersed with the ups and downs of solving a killing. June March is a no-nonsense character whose heart is in the right place. You’ll love her.” -- Nancy Gotter Gates: Author of When Push Comes to Death (Wings ePress), A Stroke of Misfortune, Death on Disaster Day, Death at Play and Squall Line.
