Michael loves creative writing, but to put food on the table at his home in Wilmington, N.C., he works as a weekly newspaper reporter. That’s his latest incarnation. Over the years, he’s been a librarian, garage door installer, free-lance writer, public relations specialist and instructional developer. He’s single and shares the house with a fellow weekly reporter, rambunctious Pomeranian and a diabetic cat.
