Nancy’s love for “let’s pretend” was recognized in second grade. Her teacher said, ”Nancy has a vivid imagination,” which didn’t set well with her religious Midwestern parents. Now, at age 72, she is realizing her dream. She quotes that famous saying, “’I must type faster.’ Late and all-nighters spent writing, days doing research, hours of editing and rewriting remind me of my youth and bring a breath of spring’s rebirth. I’m going to stick around as long as I can and indulge my passion.”
