 AUTHOR'S BIO: Southern born and bred, Debbie finally found love and happiness living in the midwest married to a Yankee. As a young child, she liked to make up stories, and finds now it’s nice not to get in trouble for it.

When not writing, her “day” job has been in finance for twenty years. She’s an avid reader, sometimes cross-stitcher and spends Saturday’s during the summer watching her husband race his stock car. Debbie attends Jazzercise and credits all the instructors and friends there for keeping her sane and in a smaller size pants. Not having much of a green thumb, she enjoys watching her neighbors, the Thompson’s tend their beautiful garden.

She’s the mother of twin daughters, Maranda and Randi, stepmother to Christopher, Larry Jr. and his wife Connie, and their daughter McKenzie.

Debbie currently lives in Missouri with her husband Larry, and their very spoiled cat, Prissie.
